Located in Guillena, near Seville, LFA España is the Spanish subsidiary of the La Fonte Ardennaise group, a European specialist in cast iron foundry. Founded in 2005, integrated into the group in 2011, and relaunched in 2012, the Andalusian plant is a strategic part of the group’s industrial organization.
With a production capacity of 20,000 tons per year, the site relies on:
a vertical joint molding line (Disamatic®)
two medium-frequency electric furnaces (12T/h)
an integrated machining workshop, ensuring the delivery of ready-to-use cast iron parts within optimized lead times.
Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment and the expertise of its teams, LFA España produces all standardized grades of lamellar and spheroidal graphite cast iron, in compliance with the most demanding quality standards.
An agile, high-performing site designed to meet the demands of the most technical industrial sectors.
La Fonte Ardennaise develops sustainable industrial solutions, with a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and social responsibility. The group’s growth is rooted in a logic of responsible industrial performance.
We have opted for 100% green electricity contracts, sourced from renewable sources such as wind, hydroelectric, and solar. This approach significantly reduces the greenhouse gas emissions associated with our activity.
In a circular approach, we promote the reuse of cast iron and aluminum. These materials are recycled, remelted, and reinjected into our production, thus limiting the consumption of virgin resources.
We have installed photovoltaic panels at the Guillena site. This locally produced energy contributes to our energy autonomy while strengthening the sustainability of our processes.
The sand used for casting is fully recycled internally. This process reduces industrial waste and conserves natural resources, while maintaining a consistent level of quality for our parts.
